Day Trip to Mt. Titlis 10 am

This adventure excursion to Mt. Titlis, at 3,020m (9,908ft) above sea level the highest vantage point in Central Switzerland, offers plenty of fun and action in the snow.

The escorted coach journey along a scenically interesting route takes you to Engelberg, where an approx. 40-minute ride in modern gondolas whisks you up to the high-Alpine glacier region on Mt. Titlis (3,020m/9,908ft above sea level). The magnificent panoramic view from the 360° revolving Rotair cable car provides a first unforgettable experience. You then have around two hours to explore the glacier cave, take a ride on the Ice Flyer – a modern glacier chairlift offering spectacular views into glacier crevasses and of icefalls – and the Fun Lift, which allows you to indulge in tobogganing in summer, too.

On the Titlis Cliff Walk, you can experience the indescribable feeling of walking over the highest suspension bridge in Europe, strung out 500m (1,640ft) above the abyss. The return journey takes you via Lucerne, where you have around 1 hour to visit the Chapel Bridge and other sights. The above-mentioned attractions are included in the tour and are available if the weather permits.
