Chocolaterie Schober

For many years, Schober was the most famous confectioner’s in Zurich. Today, the small but delightful Chocolaterie Schober is located at Wühre 15, close to Rennweg and directly overlooking the River Limmat. 

A visit here is a special experience for chocolate lovers from near and far. Once known for its legendary “Schober-Schoggi” hot chocolate, today’s chocolate creations are freshly made from dark 74% Dominican Republic chocolate and Zurich full-fat milk. This delicious treat – as well as fine pralines, a wide selection of cakes, pastries, Parisian patisserie, and breads – can be enjoyed with a view of the Limmat and of the guild houses on the opposite river bank.

Historic shop window shelves and wall sconces lend the store a nostalgic charm. Exclusive Schober praline selections from “nobile” – one of the best chocolatiers in the world – and hand-painted chocolate boxes make Schober a favorite place to buy sweet gifts.
