Galerie Eva Presenhuber

The influential pioneer of the Zurich art scene runs a gallery directly next to the Prime Tower in Zürich-West.

Contemporary art enthusiasts can find the Galerie Eva Presenhuber in a typical industrial building dating from the 1900s, which today is under a preservation order. Here impressive exhibits can be viewed in enormous open spaces.

Nowadays, Eva Presenhuber is considered one of the most influential gallery owners of her generation. Her portfolio is exquisite – ranging from Douglas Aitken and Emmanuelle Antille, to Urs Fischer, Douglas Gordon and Richard Prince, through to Oscar Tuazon and Franz West.

Eva Presenhuber’s career is an impressive one: after her Zurich debut as curator of the Walcheturm gallery, the launch of her own gallery in 2004 proved to be an immediate success. Already in her first year, Presenhuber took part in Art Basel Miami, and the following year she was present at the Frieze London, the Armory Show New York and Art Basel.

A second branch can be found at Waldmannstrasse 6 in Zurich.
