Free Guided Tours on World Tourism Day
Free Guided Tours by Employees
With Catherine Through Criminal Zurich or with Janine on Naegeli’s Trail?
In October, Zürich Tourism employees show you their own personal favorite places in Zurich. They tell their stories, point out special gems, or simply share their passion for the city that day after day they market all over the world.
Charm Guaranteed
Some of these free tours are conducted by professional tour guides, while others are carried out by employees who have never led a city tour before. The tours are therefore guaranteed to be charming and individual, but perhaps not as professional as our public city tours, which you can book all year round.
This offer is being held as part of World Tourism Day*

*World Tourism Day
The World Tourism Organization (UNWTO) has celebrated World Tourism Day on September 27 every year since 1980. World Tourism Day highlights the significance of tourism and its impact on social, cultural, political, and economic values around the world.
To commemorate this special day, Zürich Tourism would like to give something back to Zurich’s residents and, as in the two previous years, will be offering free city tours. As September 27 falls on the date when the UCI Road and Para-Cycling Road World Championships are taking place, the event will be held a little later this year.
